About

Background

I got into cybersecurity through a fascination with how systems work, and how they can be made to break. My path into the field runs through a strong mathematics foundation (calculus, linear algebra, discrete math), which gave me the analytical patience the discipline rewards. What draws me most is the offensive side: understanding how attackers think and operate, then using that understanding to build better defenses.

Education

I study cybersecurity at Erhvervsakademi Aarhus, focusing on the intersection of offensive operations and defensive engineering. My programme covers network architecture, system security, computer architecture, automation, and secure communication with combining hands-on lab work with the theoretical foundations that make it stick. Alongside coursework, I run self-directed projects in red teaming, detection engineering, and infrastructure security.

Skills

Comfortable with Python for scripting and automation, Linux system administration (Debian family), and network analysis with Wireshark and standard tooling. Working knowledge of SQL, Bash, and Git. Learning Sliver C2 framework, detection engineering with SIEM tools, and Windows internals through hands-on projects. Strong analytical foundation from mathematics (calculus, differential equations, numerical linear algebra) that carries into how I approach technical problems.

Current status

Currently in my third semester at Erhvervsakademi Aarhus, working through a course with focus on OT and NIS2 compliance for a fictional manufacturing company. Alongside coursework, I'm building a red team + purple team lab project centered on the Sliver C2 framework where i'm attacking my own infrastructure and building the detection engineering to catch it. I'm open to conversations about internships, junior offensive security roles, and collaboration on interesting security projects.
